Do you know someone who is changing the world around them? Nominate them for the Jan Opletal Awards!
First, choose a category:
The awards are given to secondary school students, or to graduates within two years of completing their studies, for:
- an exceptional contribution to improving the school environment,
- defending and strengthening student rights and freedoms,
- a significant contribution to the fight against injustice, for equal treatment and opportunities, or against any form of discrimination within a secondary school.
The awards are given to university students, or to graduates within two years of completing their studies, for:
- an exceptional contribution to the development of the academic community,
- defending academic rights and freedoms,
- strengthening student rights and freedoms,
- a significant contribution to the fight against injustice, for equal treatment and opportunities, or against any form of discrimination within a university.
To individuals under the age of 30 for:
- civic engagement in support of democracy and freedom,
- promoting and defending human rights, fighting injustice, standing up for equal treatment and opportunities, or against any form of discrimination,
- public education and volunteering,
- other activities of benefit to society.
Nominations can be submitted until 2 October 2026.
Once nominations close, we will publish the submitted nominations, including who submitted them, on this website in the second half of October.

Kdo může podat návrh?
Laureáty Cen Jana Opletala může nominovat kdokoli. Tedy jakákoli fyzická či právnická osoba!
- Jste učitel/učitelka, ředitel/ředitelka střední školy, člen akademické obce vysoké školy, zástupce jakéhokoli spolku či neformální skupiny, jsi student nebo studentka anebo prostě někdo, kdo zná aktivní mladé lidi ve svém okolí?
Nominujte je na Cenu Jana Opletala!
Co musí návrh obsahovat?
- jméno navržené osoby
- stručné zdůvodnění, proč by navržené osobě měla být Cena udělena, a kategorie
- ukázku činnosti
- souhlas navržené osoby s nominací a kontakt na navrženou osobu a navrhovatele/ku
Návrhy na udělení Ceny s uvedením, kdo návrh předložil, zveřejníme po uzavření nominací v druhé polovině října na těchto webových stránkách.
